DINNER WITH JESUS, EVERYONE IS INVITED

I woke up to an incredible vision of Jesus seated at a dinner table with a big buffet of the most delicious food laid out. There were queues of people waiting to have a one – on – one dinner with him.   I saw a man sit down at the dinner table with Jesus, and Jesus was serving him. He knew all the man’s favourite food and dished it into his plate. The man was overjoyed and ate and rejoiced. Then as he left, another came to eat with Jesus. Again, Jesus dished up everything this man loved to eat, including some vegetables that the man was not particularly fond of but ended up being super tasty and nutritious. People were having turns sitting at this dinner table and enjoying Jesus’ company and all the wonderful food.   Then I noticed, some people in the queue started to leave and say they did not have formal shoes to go to the dinner, others left because they felt they were not as well dressed as those who had eaten with Jesus, and some just did not want to stand that long in the queue. Don’t disqualify yourself, Jesus wants you just as you are. Jesus delights to be in your company. He wants to have that intimate one – on – one fellowship with you. He wants to give you the desires of your heart that He knows will benefit you and there are even some things you may not realize you need but He knows, and He wants to give you those too. He wants to dine with you, enjoy your company and lavish on you. Don’t get tired waiting to encounter Him and give up. It doesn’t matter how messed up you may feel your life is, He wants you to sit with Him and He wants to love on you. He does not look on the outward appearance, but He looks on the heart. Nothing in this life can compare with relationship with Jesus. When we are in an intimate relationship with Jesus, we have a peace that is beyond any understanding, that no matter what we go through, good or bad, we know He has us in His embrace. When we see a storm ahead, we know that He is in it with us and we expect to get to the other side. When we celebrate and rejoice, we see His good work and hand in it. He has woven together a plan for our life and when we are in relationship with Him, He whispers the way of blessedness into our ears. Who can live without Him? Certainly not I! Can you? Do you want to know Him? Well, the table is laid out and He is seated in expectation of the guest of honour. This is you! As you take one step closer to Him, He will draw closer to you. Don’t leave until you’ve tasted the spread, He has laid out just for you.]]>
