Definition of a mirage: An optical illusion caused by atmospheric conditions. As I was traveling on the road, I saw a mirage on the road. You know when there appears to be a stream or puddle of water on the road ahead but there is none. It is an optical illusion caused by the refraction of light from the sky by heated air which creates the appearance of a sheet of water in a desert or on a hot road. We could also say a mirage is, “Something that is not true or real but appears to be.” As I saw this mirage on the road, The Lord started to speak to me about FEAR being a mirage all around the world. The spirit of fear wants to control people, suppress freedom to gather as a church, censor humanities differing viewpoints and experiences, but we who are in Christ should not let fear control our decisions. Peace will come from keeping our eyes on Christ and not on atmospheric conditions. Fear comes in because of the atmospheric conditions we are allowing our eyes to be deceived by. Just like the mirage or non-existent stream of water in the road, we get anxious we are going to hit that puddle of water but the puddle was never there to start with in the first place, it was an illusion created by atmospheric conditions. To make the right decision, you need a personal relationship with God so I encourage you to get intimate with the Lord. When you are doing research to help you make a decision, you need to consult the greatest source of all information, the Holy Spirit. He is the one who searches the deep things of God and has all the answers you need concerning every decision you need to make. “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” The Holy Spirit will lead you by peace, not by fear. Fear is not from the Lord so censor those things that breed fear in you and instead build up your faith with the word of God. Which atmospheric condition do you want to be your truth? What you focus on will be your reality and the choices you make will stem from what you believe! CHOOSE TRUTH OVER FACTS I offer you this today. There are facts and there are truths. Facts change over time but Truth is set in time and stands until eternity. ARISE, AND CAST-OFF FEAR FOR YOU HAVE THE DNA OF GOD IN YOU A few mornings ago, I woke up to the Lord saying, “Arise, MY CHILDREN, Arise, MY CHILDREN!” There was an urgency in his voice for us to wake up. His voice sounded as if we had fallen into a slumber and He was trying to awaken us from a deep sleep. As I meditated on His words the entire day, I could not shake off the sense of urgency in His voice and the way He emphasized “My children.” I asked the Lord what is the deeper meaning here and then I saw it. As a child of God, we have His DNA, His authority, you have been given authority to trample on serpents, to speak to the mountain to move, yet the mirage of fear stops us. It is time we speak to that optical illusion of fear and command it to get out of the way or we just trample over it. It won’t even splash, ‘cos the puddle was never there to start with, in the first place. Let hope and faith be your portion. BLOW YOUR TRUMPETS ALL YOU WATCHMEN The watchmen, this is for you. Do not stop being the salt of the earth and the light in the world, do not let fear of man or fear that people will judge you for speaking the word of God silence you, for you were born for such a time as this! You have an obligation to speak God’s word, so that souls may be saved. Nothing should silence you. Let the spirit of God speak through you. The Lord has been impressing Ezekiel 33.6 upon my heart. “But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin- I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.” Let us listen to the Spirit of God and not to the spirit of the world that is trying to conform us nudge by nudge. God’s word is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow and nowhere in His word does He suggest that we let fear control our decisions.” For God had not given us the spirit of fear; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND.” 2 Tim1:7 Renewing our minds in Christ daily will help us to keep any voices of deception and manipulation out. Stay rooted in Christ even if you are persecuted for your beliefs. “In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and imposters will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have been convinced of, because you know this from whom you learned it.” 2 Tim 3:12-14. I pray that we will stand strong in perilous times. I pray for more faith and intimacy with God. May every decision we make be led by the Holy Spirit. I command the spirit of fear back to the pits of hell, in Jesus’ name! May we hear the voice of God clearly in our life and may we see with spiritual eyes.]]>
